Floats / Middle District · 1.1 mi
About a mile — swim-and-float territory under the Hwy 65 bridge.
No active NWS flood or severe-weather alerts for Newton, Searcy counties right now. That isn’t a safety guarantee — rain anywhere upstream in the watershed can raise the river fast, even under clear skies where you are. weather.gov/lzk

Usually floatable: March–July, and after rain later in the year (typical Middle District pattern per NPS; not a forecast)
