The National Park Service authorizes a small number of businesses to rent canoes, kayaks, tubes and rafts and run shuttles inside the park. Each one may only operate in its assigned district, so pick an outfitter for the part of the river you plan to float. Per NPS, rentals include the boat, paddles, life jackets, a mesh litter bag and a shuttle; some will also move your car to the take-out for a fee. If your float crosses two districts, either district’s outfitters can serve you.
